A long history and A LOT of Experience

On February 15th 1972, The Highroller Cyclery opened its doors. However, the rich history of the Fayetteville location began in 1930's when the building operated as a grocery store. From there, it was used as the headquarters for Johnson Plumbing before being taken over in the 1970's by a motorcycle repair shop. The building nearly burned to the ground when one of the motorcycle gas tanks caught fire inside. Thankfully, the beautiful old building was spared and has operated as a bike shop since.

In 2006, long time manager Chris Dillard bought the business. Chris began working at The Highroller Cyclery in 1999 and was promoted to store manager in 2000. In addition to his experience with cycling, Chris has also been involved with the Ozark Off Road Cyclists (OORC) and physically contributed to the trail building projects at Devil’s Den, Lake Fayetteville, Lake Leatherwood, Mount Sequoya, Mount Kessler, Hobbs State Park, Lincoln Lake and Lake Wilson. He was also involved with the strategic planning and implementation of the Buffalo Headwaters Trail System. The Highroller Cyclery continues to support the Ozark Off Road Cyclists as well as IMBA, The International Mountain Bike Association.

With the creation of the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Regional Greenway and the expansion of mountain biking trails up North, Chris opened a Rogers location in 2013. Conveniently located directly off interstate 49 and The Greenway, the Rogers location provides easy access for the customers up North, whether they are traveling by car or by bicycle. The Highroller Cyclery is Northwest Arkansas's exclusive bike shop for Specialized Bicycles.
